This is a report on the self-employed in construction and agriculture by the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) in accordance with section 171 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992. The report considers whether the self-employed in construction and agriculture should be brought into the industrial injuries scheme.

This command paper was laid before Parliament by a government minister by command of Her Majesty. Command papers are considered by the government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
