Initial analysis of the UK innovation survey 2011 (UK IS 2011) which covers the three-year period 2008-2010. It provides key messages and information for policy-making from from the UK Innovation Survey 2011.

The UK Innovation Survey is part of a wider Community Innovation Survey (CIS) covering European countries. The survey is based on a core questionnaire developed by the European Commission (Eurostat) and Member States. This is the 7th survey in the series (CIS 7).

The figures in this publication have been updated to include analysing co-operation by type of partner.
