Detail of outcome

The International Development white paper published in November 2023 provided a diagnosis of global challenges, and examples of how the UK can respond to these, across 7 different areas.

The Development Review, launched in September 2024 and led by Baroness Minouche Shafik, will consider areas of focus for the UK’s development effort in a constrained resource environment, based on the UK’s specific strengths and the strengths of our partners. It will build on these wide-ranging development consultations conducted for the white paper in 2023.

A summary of responses to the call for evidence was published on 31 October 2024.
