The Severe Space Weather Preparedness Strategy sets out a 5-year vision for boosting UK resilience to the risk of severe space weather events. It outlines a series of commitments by government to work with industry, academia, and international partners to increase the country’s understanding of and preparedness for severe space weather.

This strategy supports the aims of the National Space Strategy by ensuring that severe space weather is a risk that is appropriately managed, which will enable the UK to pursue its wider ambitions for space.
