If you are making a declaration using the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) follow the guidance in the UK Trade Tariff: volume 3 for CDS.

This list of additional information codes shows the description of each code, and the level at which it can be used.

1. 28 February 2018

   Section 11. the 'Level at which the code can be used' for GRNTR has been updated to Item.

2. 16 January 2018

   Code 30400 devised by the European Commission has been deleted.

3. 15 September 2017

   The descriptions in section 6 for codes ECO01 to ECO22 have been updated and codes ECO31 to ECO38 have been deleted.

4. 4 August 2017

   Code ECO22 has been added to the list of additional information codes.

5. 17 May 2016

   Code EXGTE has been added and code GRNTR has been amended.
