- 22 November 2018: Lord Bates attended the opening session of the Commonwealth Heads of National Statistics to discuss the use of data to monitor the Sustainable Development Goals
- 22 November 2018: DFID officials attended a UN Global Compact Event in Manchester
- 23 November 2018: Lord Bates took part in a parliamentary debate on the Voluntary National Review

- 12 March 2019: The Department for Health and Social Care hosted an engagement event on Goal 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), in addition to a survey
- 11 to 22 March 2019: DFID hosted a range of sector-specific engagement events on the Emerging Findings. These included events with parliamentarians, the international development sector, civil society organisations, faith groups, the private sector and local delivery events in Leeds and Bristol
- 22 March 2019: DEFRA hosted an engagement event focusing on natural environments and sustainable consumption and production
- 26 March 2019: UK Stakeholders for Sustainable Development (UKSSD) hosted a webinar on data and the VNR. DFID presented on its approach to data in the VNR

- 8 April 2019: The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government hosted a stakeholder engagement event on Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)
- 17 April: DFID officials updated and answered questions at an African and the Global Goals Roundtable event hosted by the Commonwealth Foundation
- 7 May: Cabinet Office Minister for Implementation, Oliver Dowden hosts Roundtable discussion on external stakeholders’ views on Government’s approach to embedding the Goals in performance and planning
- 21 May: DEFRA, DFID and Cabinet Office officials brief UN Global Compact Working Group on the SDGs
- 22 May: DFID officials updated and answered questions from BOND members at their Town Hall meeting
- 11 June: Secretary of State Rory Stewart and Minister Harriet Baldwin participate in parliamentary debate on the SDGs
