Details

The project aims to improve UK Competition Network (UKCN) members’ understanding of the selection, design, testing and evaluation of consumer-facing remedies.

This paper, drafted jointly by the CMA and FCA, provides an overview of three main themes addressed during the project. Those are: (1) sources of demand-side problems in markets; (2) the remedy options available to address these problems; and (3) how to test remedy options. The paper concludes by drawing together the main lessons learned from this project and highlights priorities for further focus.
