The Vaccines Project underwent its first annual review in April 2018. This annual review document provides reflection on project management, finance and lessons learned. The next annual review will be completed in April 2019.
The Department of Health and Social Care’s Vaccines Project is a £110 million UK aid funded project. It aims to support the development of new vaccines and vaccine technologies for emergent diseases so that outbreaks can be prevented or controlled.
The UK Vaccine Network (UKVN) brings together industry, academia and relevant funding bodies. The Vaccines Project sits within a wider £120 million cross-government commitment to deal with the challenges identified by the UKVN.
