The project will reach 400 people of Caribbean descent residing in the West Midlands/Black Country (incl: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, and Sandwell). The project will run a series of on-line and in-person events and workshops. A full weekend of activities will showcase the legacies of the Windrush generation and their descendants at a 60th anniversary celebration of Caribbean people in the area, and will include Caribbean arts, music, dancers, gospel singing, steel band, food and guest speakers. |
