Provider memo 39: Changes to the self-referral process
Updated 4 April 2024
This memo is for Work and Health Programme (WHP) providers.
Background
This memo is to notify you that the Work and Health Programme self-referral process, that was designed and implemented to help increase referral numbers during COVID-19 will be set to zero on the 1 November 2020.
All references to the self-referral process including the WHPS01 form will be removed from the GOV.UK website (including Job-help).
All self-referral volumes have now been set to zero (volumes) which you have been notified of by Work and Health Programme provider letters.
Action
You should ensure that all material relating to the WHP self-referral process are removed and not used from the 1 November 2020 as all forms after this date will not be actioned.
If you have previously signed up to the WHP programme signposting process – you should revert back to this business as usual process from the 1 November 2020.
Please ensure, with immediate effect, that the information in the COVID-19 Work and Health Programme memo is immediately cascaded and used by all your subcontractors.
