Details

Exclusivity clauses in zero hours contracts will be banned as part of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Bill.

The consultation Zero hours employment contracts: exclusivity clause ban avoidance requests views on some possible solutions to prevent potential avoidance, and providing redress to affected workers, without putting forward preferred options. This impact assessment shows the costs and benefits of suggested possible options.
