Details

This report investigates the current condition of England’s housing stock and the potential for improvements.

It first looks at housing quality in terms of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System, repair costs, damp and the Decent Homes Standard. It then looks at the potential for energy efficiency measures.

Finally it explores the potential of the dwelling stock to meet the current and future needs of households in relation to accessibility, as well as specific features that would make housing more useable for people with disabilities and illnesses.
