Details

This release presents an estimate of the number of leasehold dwellings in England in 2015 to 2016. For the first time, it includes an estimate of the number of leasehold dwellings in the social rented sector in addition to those in the owner occupied and private rented sectors.

The estimate is based on a new experimental methodology developed by the Department for Communities and Local Government and builds on the methodology developed to produce the 2014 to 2015 estimate.
