Details
Quarterly Official Statistics in development on health visitor service delivery. Information is presented at local authority of residence, region and England level. Data from previous years was published by OHID (formerly PHE).
The metrics cover health reviews for pregnant women, children and their families at several stages which are:
- antenatal contact
- new birth visit
- 6 to 8 week review
- 12 month review
- 2 to 2 and a half year review
The data was collected through an interim reporting system set up to collect health visiting activity data at a local authority resident level. Data is submitted by local authorities on a voluntary basis.
Local authority commissioners and health professionals can use these resources to track how many pregnant women, children and families in their local area have received health promoting reviews at particular points during pregnancy and childhood.
Quarterly figures are provisional and subject to revision, and they are released for the purpose of providing timely figures. The most recently published quarterly file supersedes the previously published file.
