Local Tobacco Control Profiles for England: short statistical commentary, March 2019

Details

The Local Tobacco Control Profiles data update for March 2019 has been published by Public Health England (PHE).

These profiles have been designed to help local government and health services to assess the effect of tobacco use on their local populations. The data are presented in an interactive tool that allows users to view them in a user-friendly format.

This update contains:

  • new data for five indicators in the smoking related ill health domain
  • revised back series for three indicators based on the revised ONS mid-year population estimates
  • CCG data added for smoking prevalence in adults - current smokers (APS)
