These statistics are badged as Official Statistics in Development (previously labelled ‘experimental statistics’). Our statistical practice is regulated by the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR). The OSR sets the standards of trustworthiness, quality and value in the Code of Practice for Statistics that all producers of official statistics should adhere to.
Healthcare associated infection (HCAI) surveillance data on meticillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), meticillin susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA), Escherichia coli (E. coli) Klebsiella species (Klebsiella spp.), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) bacteraemia and Clostridioides difficile (C. difficile) infection from independent sector (IS) organisations.
