This report details information on the regulated scientific procedures involving living animals carried out in the calendar year, including number of procedures, species and genetic status of animals, and purpose and severity of procedures. Corrections slip has been added to both PDF versions, and HTML version has been updated with the correction. Correction covers a change in definition of non-human primate generation, and colony status, as well as a correction in the 10 year comparison for use of dogs in procedures. Ad hoc data on non-human primates used in experimental procedures for the first time also released.
