Section 1: Key messages

  • TIFF in the South West in 2023 was £631 million, a decrease of £293 million (-32%) from 2022.

  • Total crop output in the South West in 2023 was £1,155 million, a decrease of £258 million (-18%) from 2022.

  • Total livestock output in the South West in 2023 was £3,028 million, a decrease of £115 million (-4%) from 2022.

  • Total intermediate consumption in the South West in 2023 was £2,947 million, a decrease of £65 million (-2%) from 2022.
