Applies to England

The roadworks service (as know as ‘Street Manager’) provides data for England on every:

• utility street work
• local highway authority road work

This data is added by utility companies and highway authorities, which requires separate registration, and is available via an API (Application Programming Interface).

Roadworks service API

Create an API account

You need to create an account to access the roadworks API service. To do this you must register for the service supplying your:

• first and last name
• organisation name
• contact email
• contact telephone number
• API end point that you wish to receive data on

Accessing data via the API
