Who needs to enrol
You must already be an approved producer of alcoholic products.
Before producing alcoholic products, you must first get approval from HMRC.
Before you start

You will also need one of the following:
- your business postcode
- your Corporation Tax Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)
- your Self Assessment Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)
How to find your alcoholic products producer approval (APPA) ID
You can find your APPA ID on either the online service letter or the approval letter that we sent to you.
If you do not have your APPA ID, contact excise and gambling duties enquiries.
If you do not have your UTR, you can find your UTR number.
After you’ve enrolled
Once you’re enrolled in the service, you’ll be able to submit your Alcohol Duty return.
