MOT modernisation email alerts
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) wants the MOT trade to sign up for email alerts to make sure you get all the information you need about the plans to replace your existing VTS devices with the new MOT testing service by September 2015.
All the major updates about MOT modernisation - which will help prepare you and your garage for the move over to the new service - will be published on the Matters of Testing blog.
All authorised examiners (AEs), nominated testers (NTs) and other vehicle testing station (VTS) staff need to sign up for email alerts to keep themselves up to date about MOT modernisation.
You should give as many of your business details as possible - especially your user ID, job title and VTS number - during the sign-up process. This will help DVSA to make sure you get the information you need about the switchover to the new service.
