Use the DVSA fast track service for driver and rider trainers

How to use the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) fast track phone service for driver and rider trainers.

About the fast track phone service

The DVSA fast track phone service is for all types of driving instructors and motorcycle trainers.

It lets you:

  • phone DVSA from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
  • get your call answered more quickly

Get the fast track phone service codes

To use the service, you need special code numbers from DVSA.

Email customerservices@dvsa.gov.uk if you don’t have them. Include your:

  • driving licence number
  • instructor number
  • date of birth

DVSA will reply with the codes.

Don’t give the details of how to use the service to your pupils. It will slow down the service for trainers if you do.

Use the fast track phone service

To use the fast track phone service, you should:

  1. Dial 0300 200 1122.

  2. Use the appropriate fast track code as soon as the message starts to play.
