DMBM681360 - Ordinary Cause: Registering the (letters/warrant of) inhibition in the Register of Inhibitions and Adjudications

Immediately the messenger-at-arms/sheriff officer returns the certificate of executionof service with all the relevant documents to you, you must send the

  • letters of inhibition and
  • the certificate of execution of service of the inhibition with a covering letter to “The Keeper of Inhibitions and Adjudications, Registers of Scotland, Meadowbank House, 153 London Road, Edinburgh EH8 7AU” to enable the inhibition to be recorded.

The current fee charged for doing this is £20
