Drive by/walk by

Although it is not a type of intervention, you may be asked to do a drive by/walk by. This is where you drive or walk past a business’s premises to see if it still exists and is in operation. Remember, this is not an unannounced visit, you must not stop and talk to anyone, and you must not enter the premises. Before doing a drive by/walk by, you must ensure you read the guidance in ECSH 32835 What to do if there is no response to initial contact.
