ECSH83675 - Sanctions for non-compliance: suspension and cancellation: notice to cancel or suspend a business’s registration

The notice to suspend or cancel a business’s registration is a vehicle for communicating the decision to suspend or cancel a business’s registration. Therefore, once a decision is made and communicated it is final unless changed through the statutory review procedure in the regulations, successfully appealed in the tribunal or found to be issued in error.

Once a business’s registration is cancelled, the business would need to re-apply if the reason(s) for the decision were rectified, the decision was overturned on review or appeal, or the notice was issued in error.
