There is no limitation on how many times a business’s registration can be suspended. Further suspensions should be avoided wherever possible, however, a fresh decision to suspend the business’s registration (usually without any gap between this and the previous suspension) may be appropriate in some cases depending on the circumstances.

The decision-maker will need to consider all the facts of the case before making any decision, especially money laundering and terrorist financing risks, as well as other risks.
