EXPP5100 - Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) export declarations: validation

CHIEF will examine all entries for omissions of data and errors in data input.

Depending on the type of entry being input the validation routines will include range and format checks of individual fields, cross field checks and checks against standing data (eg Tariff).

Appropriate error messages will be returned to the user.
