SW06160 - Create a Room: Room Release

Each request for a new Room is considered by the SW Live Service Support Team SW04430.

If the creation of the Room is approved, the Room will be automatically created and the first two HMRC Business Authorising Officers (BAOs) will be added to the Room. The BAOs will be sent an invitation to the Room confirming that the Room has been created.

Once the BAOs have received their email invitation, the Room will be released and can be used. The BAO must ensure that the home (front) page of the Room is locked SW06180. The BAO will then need to consider adding any HMRC members to the Room SW05210.

If the Room is to be used with a Customer Organisation, the BAO will also need to add the organisation to the Room SW09220.

If the creation of the Room is rejected the member of staff that requested the Room will receive an email explaining why the Room request has been refused.
