SW07280 - Item Types: Links

By using Links members can place an icon or text within a Shared Workspace Room that links to anything that has a web address (a URL). For example:

• another Shared Workspace Room
• a particular file or item within Shared Workspace
• an Intranet site
• an Internet site.

Members using links need to bear in mind that not all members of the Room hosting the link will necessarily have the necessary permissions to access to the link’s target.

Members should consider using Access Controls SW07410 to ensure only people with the need to use the link can see it.
