Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘Renewal’ on the toolbar
- select ‘Manage Finalisation’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the ‘Period’ checkbox and enter the relevant year as 06/04/YYYY - 05/04/YYYY
If you are taken to the ‘Select Household’ screen
- select the relevant household
- select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Manage Finalisation’ screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Manage Finalisation’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Manage Finalisation’ screen
- select ‘Continue’. You will be taken to the ‘Finalisation details’ screen
- select ‘Continue’. You will be taken to the ‘Notice details’ screen

in the ‘S17 Notice’ field, if the Annual Declaration has been ‘marked as not served’ there will be ticks in the ‘not served’ checkboxes
- Note: in a joint claim both checkboxes will have been selected
