Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
- select ‘View’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
- enter the customers NINO
- select the ‘All’ checkbox
- select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen
- select the relevant claim
- select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen or the ‘Select Application Version’ screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
- select the claim with the status of ‘Award Issued’
- select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
- Note: If you are instead taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen
- select version 1 of the claim
- select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Application Summary’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Application Summary’ screen
- note the date of birth of the customer shown in the ‘Applicant 1’ and, where applicable ‘Applicant 2’ boxes
- select ‘Navigation’ on the toolbar
- select ‘Work’ from the options available
- select ‘Applicant 1’ or ‘Applicant 2’ as appropriate. You will be taken to the appropriate ‘Applicant Work’ screen for the selected customer
Note: In a two-person claim, if both customers work, both checkboxes will be available and both of their work details must be checked.
- note the total number of hours worked shown in the ‘Total Hours Worked’ field.
