Changes to previous version - new guidance

Step 1

On the ‘Function Menu’

  • select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Correction’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
  • enter the customer’s NINO
  • select the relevant checkbox
  • select ‘OK’.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen

  • select the relevant claim
  • select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
  • go to Step 2.

If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen

select the relevant claim

select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen

go to Step 2.

If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen. go to Step 2.

Step 2

On the ‘Applicant Details’ screen

  • select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
  • select ‘Details’ from the options available. The ‘Household Details’ screen will display
  • the following will be shown in the ‘Special Needs’ field, if there is a special needs marker

    • ‘Braille’
    • ‘Welsh’
    • ‘Audio’
    • ‘Large Print’.

Note: You must not make any changes in the ‘Household Details’ screen. When you have finished checking for a special needs marker, select ‘Cancel’.
