Changes to previous version - new guidance
Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘Household’ on the toolbar
- select ‘View Account’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the ‘All’ checkbox
- select the ‘Postings’ checkbox
- select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Award’ screen
- select the relevant award
- select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen
- go to Step 2.
If you are taken straight to the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘View Award Period Postings’ screen
- select the relevant payment. You will be taken to the ‘View BACS Details’ screen
- note the account details shown in the ‘Account Details’ field
- go to Step 3.
Step 3
Go back to the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
- select ‘Correction’ from the options available. You will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the ‘All’ checkbox
- select ‘OK’
- select the relevant claim
- select ‘OK’.
If you are taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
- select the relevant claim
- select ‘OK’. You will be taken to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
- go to Step 4.
If you are taken straight to the ‘Applicant Details’ screen, go to Step 4.
Step 4
On the ‘Applicant Details’ screen
Note: if the ‘Signals’ screen displays. select ‘Cancel’
- select ‘Pm1’ or ‘Pm2’, as appropriate on the toolbar. You will be taken to the ‘Payment’ screen
- note the account details shown in the ‘Account Details’ field.
If the first account details you noted are the same as the second account details you noted, the customer’s account details haven’t changed.
If the first account details you noted are not the same as the second account details you noted, the customer’s account details have changed.
