Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
- select ‘View’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data - Applicant’ screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select the ‘All’ checkbox
- select ‘OK’.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Individual’ screen
- select the relevant claim
- select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
Note: If you’re instead taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen or the ‘Select Application Version’ screen, follow the guidance below for those screens.
- go to Step 2.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application’ screen
- select the relevant claim
- select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
Note: If you’re instead taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen, follow the guidance below for that screen.
- go to Step 2.
If you’re taken to the ‘Select Application Version’ screen
- select version 1 of the claim
- select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Application Summary’ screen
- go to Step 2.
If you’re taken straight to the ‘Application Summary’ screen, go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Application Summary’ screen
- select ‘VH’ on the toolbar. You’ll be taken to the ‘View Application History’ screen
- check the ‘Additional Details’ field.
If there is a ‘Yes’ next to the ‘IS’ or ‘JSA/ESA’ fields for either customer
- select ‘History’ on the toolbar
- select either ‘IS’ or ‘JSA/ESA’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘History’ screen
- the dates the customer was in receipt of IS or JSA / ESA are shown in the ‘Start Date’, ‘Include From’ or ‘End Date’ fields.
If there is a ‘No’ next to the ‘IS’ or ‘JSA/ESA’ fields for either customer, the customer wasn’t in receipt of IS or JSA / ESA.
