Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘Application’ on the toolbar
- select ’Maintain Appeal’ from the options available. You’ll be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data’ screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Select Award’ screen
- select the award with an open appeal
Note: This will be the award with an ’O’ in the ‘Appeals’ column.
- select ‘OK’. You’ll be taken to the ‘Maintain Appeal’ screen
- select ‘Closed’ in the ‘Appeal status’ field
- select ‘OK’. The appeal is now closed.
