TCM1000576 - How to In Year Finalise after an appeal has closed
Step 1
On the ‘Function Menu’
- select ‘IY Finalisation’ on the toolbar

select ‘Maintain IY Finalisation’ from the options available
- you will be taken to the ‘Key Entry Data screen
- enter the customer’s NINO
- select ‘OK’
If you are taken to the ‘Select individual’ screen
- select the relevant individual that you need to work

select ‘OK’
- you will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’
- go to Step 2
If you are taken to the ‘Select household’ screen
- select the relevant household that you need to work

select ‘OK’
- you will be taken to ‘Household Details’ screen’
- go to Step 2
If you are taken straight to the ‘Household Details’ screen
- go to Step 2.
Step 2
On the ‘Household details’ screen
- select ‘continue’ until you get to the ‘finalisation details’ screen

select ‘Finalise’
- the ‘finalise in year’ dialogue box will displayed
- select ‘Appeals’ from the ‘Action Authority’ field
- select ‘As Agreed’ from the ‘Finalise’ field
- select ‘OK’
Note: If an error message does not display after you have selected ‘Finalise’, the award will be finalised.
