FHDDS32300 - Approval, revoking the approval and variations: approval – Fit and proper test: applications from Authorised Economic Operators – AEO central site

Applications for AEO are managed by the Central Site who are based in Nottingham. (The AEOCS)

The AEOCS undertake pre-authorisation checks, instigate front line pre-authorisation events which are undertaken by ISBC compliance teams and monitor AEO compliance post authorisation.

Compliance with the expectations of AEO status is monitored and the approval is reviewed every 3 years. The review may take the form of a desk review by the AEOCS or a full review event by compliance officers.
