Pay a maintenance order online
Use this service to pay a maintenance order online.
You need:
- a debit or credit card
- your account number - this is 8 numbers followed by a letter (you can find this on any letter you get from the court)
You cannot use this service if any of the following apply:
- your order was registered in Scotland or Northern Ireland
- you’ve been ordered by the court to pay the other party directly
- your case is being handled by the Child Maintenance Service or Child Support Agency (CSA)
You can use this service to pay a maintenance order that was registered by a court in England or Wales, even if you live in another country.
This service is also available in Welsh (Cymraeg).
Your payment must be received on or before the date specified.
If you’ve lost your account number
Contact the Maintenance Enforcement Business Centre (MEBC) if you’ve lost your account number.
There is now only one MEBC for the whole of England and Wales. MEBC Wales and MEBC London are closed.
