Hazard

The product presents a risk of choking as small parts (the plastic nose LED lights and zip pull) can be easily detached when the product is used. A young child may place the small part in their mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, with the small part able to block a child’s airways and cause internal damage. The zip provides access to fibrous filling, which could also be swallowed by a child and present a risk of asphyxiation. The product also requires improvements to labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

OPSS is requiring the withdrawal of the product from the market. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Wish).
