Hazard
The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of electric shock as the plug pins of the clover plug are too close to the edge. As the user plugs the product into the socket the metal parts of the pins open the socket apertures, enabling access to live parts. If they touch the metal, the consumer will receive an electric shock and potentially be electrocuted. Improvements are required to documentation and product markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The product has been destroyed at the border.
