MMO introduces licence condition for I-VMS ahead of new legislation

Users of the Catch Recording and Fish Export Service helplines need to be aware that the contact centre’s hours of operation are changing from April 1 2025.
Fishers with commercial licences who want to apply for an authorisation to fish commercially for bluefin tuna in English waters in 2025 can start the process from 20 March 2025.
Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has published Bluefin Tuna Catch and Release Recreational Fishery (CRRF) Statistics 2024.
A public inquiry will be held to consider the application by the Port of London Authority for a harbour revision order.
