Find out if someone has an attorney, deputy or guardian acting for them

Apply to search the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) registers to see if someone has another person acting on their behalf.

This can be:

• an attorney under a lasting power of attorney
• an attorney under an enduring power of attorney
• a court appointed deputy
• a guardian for someone who is missing appointed by the High Court

You need to fill in a form to search the register. This is a free service.
