Use these letters to get proof of child abuse if you want legal aid to stop a partner seeing your child.

You need to provide 1 piece of written evidence of child abuse if you’re applying for legal aid to:

• stop an abusive partner having access to your child
• take away their parental responsibility

You can use any of these sample letters to ask for this evidence.
