Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation

The Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (CDEI) became the Responsible Technology Adoption Unit (RTA) in February 2024. As of January 2025, the RTA is no longer a standalone unit and its functions are embedded in other relevant teams in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), including the Government Digital Service.
