Details

You need to complete the part A form for all environmental permit applications. That includes if you are applying:

  • for a new permit
  • to change (vary) an existing permit
  • to cancel (surrender) your permit
  • to transfer an existing permit to yourself

  1. Removed reference to flood risk activities from question 3.3 guidance.

  2. Updated summary and details as this form must now be used for surrender applications as well. Updated the form in a few ways. Added definitions and guidance to clarify questions.   3. Updated application form to delete old ref to F2 form (no longer used). Updated guidance to Part A to update postal and email addresses.

  4. Application form Part A - information about you: Added additional text to clarify that date of birth information is only needed when applying for a new or to transfer an installation or a waste operation.

  5. We have removed the environmental permit application privacy notice. This information is now in Part F1: apply for an environmental permit (Opra, charges, declarations) application form.

  6. We've added our environmental permit privacy notice.

  7. This page has been updated by the Environment Agency as a result of the strategic review of charges. The review was consulted on between November 2017 and January 2018. The changes commence from April 2018.
