Details
This Policy Framework sets out duties, rules and guidance to prison and probation staff of how and when to use the Community Accommodation Service Tier 2 provision. It outlines obligations for both HMPPS and the provider. Prison and Probation staff include all prisons (including private), and The Probation Service in England and Wales.
A supporting document (Annex A) is available and should be read in conjunction with the PF. This provides detail of the referral process, eligibility criteria and a service description for stakeholders.
