This document provides details of tests for high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV), that have been approved for use in the NHS Cervical Screening Programme (NHSCSP).
The tests may be used for:
- primary HPV screening
- HPV triage of borderline and low-grade abnormalities
- the ‘test of cure’ of treatment, according to national protocols
