CMA letter to LBG on its breaches of the NI PCA Banking Order

Letter to Lloyds Banking Group about its non-compliance with the Northern Ireland Personal Current Account Banking Market Investigation Order 2008.

Details

Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) reported the breaches to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). These included:

  • its failure to issue Switching Leaflets to customers on an annual basis
  • its failure to issue 14-day pre-notifications to customers before deducting overdraft charges and debit interest

This letter sets out the action agreed between the CMA and LBG to remedy the breaches of the Order.
