Details

Nationwide reported its breaches to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). From January to May 2017, Nationwide:

  • failed to include wording reminding customers that they can close the PCA and seek to obtain PCA services from a different bank; and where the customer can find further information on the process of how to do this

  • failed to provide a copy of the Switching Leaflet to customers

This letter sets out the action agreed between the CMA and Nationwide to remedy the breaches of the Order. For information on the NI Banking PCA Order see the case page.
