Details
This report follows on from the DWP employer engagement and experience survey 2013, which was intended to act as a baseline against which the impact of policy changes could be assessed.
The report describes employers’ experiences of:
- using a range of DWP services and initiatives
- recruiting and retaining staff
- developing their workforce
Important questions used in the 2013 survey were replicated in the 2015 to 2016 survey to look at changes over time. At the same time the remit of the 2015 to 2016 survey was broadened to cover a wider range of policy initiatives such as:
- Universal Credit
- workplace pensions and automatic enrolment
- attitudes towards older workers and disadvantaged groups
We are using this research to make sure we take account of up to date views from employers when developing policy and services.
Authors: Ashley Kershaw, Karen Cave and Emily Rose (DWP).
